Traffic Safety at Altoona Youth Day

Various groups participated; PDOT, DCNR, PSP, PLCBE, Shavers Creek Environmental, Drink Milk organization, along with numerous other groups.

The Bowie Baysocks (minor league team from the Baltimore Orioles) played the Altoona Curve.

The Buckle Up message was delivered over the loud speakers, & hand outs were distributed.

Pam Kane the SPO for PDOT District 9 dressed as the bug, her son Michael Kane wore the Vince costume, his friend Greg Garlock wore the Larry costume. Don Drass, the CTSP/Cambria Allegheny Areaal Safety Network also helped with this event.

More than 5,000 children attended the event on each of the days.
