Buckle Up Pennsylvania
The Community Traffic Safety Programs focus on highway safety issues occurring in their respective counties. These focus areas include, but are not limited to: Aggressive Driving, Impaired Driving, Occupant Protection, Youth Drivers, Pedestrian Safety, and Bicycle Safety. The Community Traffic Safety Program Coordinators can assist police departments with school programs, public awareness, equipment, and other resources pertaining to Highway Safety.

 Region 1Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Philadelphia Region #1 Overview Region #1 comprises the five county Philadelphia area. The region itself is the smallest geographically of the six regions of the state but Region #1 has the largest number of people. This comprises about thirty percent of the entire population of Pennsylvania. The region has over one-hundred and twenty departments particpating in the Buckle Up Pennsylvania Program through either individual grants or multi-jurisdictional grants. Route 100 - Chester CountyChester County Route 100 Enforcement Project: A new traffic enforcement initiative is underway along Route 100 between Route 724 and Route 401 in Chester County. PennDOT has awarded grant funds to the North Coventry Township, Upper Uwchlan Township, and West Vincent Township Police Departments. Those police departments, along with the state police will increase traffic enforcement to improve traffic safety on Route 100. | | Gordon Beck Region 1 LEL 5 Diamond Drive
