CASE STUDY: Filming of Training Video

The filming of the training tape for the middle and high school seat belt curriculum, "Survival 101", took place Wednesday, January 15th at Events Staging in Pottsville, PA. Sergeant Dave Hogentogler of the Lower Paxton Township Police Department addressed the senior students about the risks of driving and made them aware of their responsibilities behind the wheel (A similar version is also available for the middle school student, approaching the topic from the passenger´s perspective - - - riding with the teenage driver.).
This program is specifically designed to be delivered by a police officer and is intended to create a better understanding of the experience and the relationship between the officer and the teenage driver/rider at the scene of a crash.
Schools represented at the taping were Schuylkill Haven, Minersville, North Schuylkill, and Mount Carmel Area.
